Ordering Kitchen and Bathroom Cabinets Online
Why order kitchen and bathroom cabinets online? Well, the answer is
simple - you can save thousands of dollars!
By cutting out the showroom cost as well as other overhead expenses,
purchasing cabinets online can give you the same if not better quality at huge
discounts. The purpose of this guide is to educate you in the process of
ordering cabinets online - what you should look for and what you should avoid
while doing so. With the information provided, whether you are a builder,
contractor, or homeowner, you will be able to benefit from warehouse pricing and
save quite a bit of money in the process.
Step 1 : Choose a Good Supplier
There are hundreds of suppliers selling cabinets on the Internet these days -
it is very important you choose the right one to purchase from.
How long has the supplier been doing business?
Experience is important! A good supplier knows what cabinets to stock,
what cabinets are in style, and what cabinets will bring value into your home,
business, etc.
BulkCabinets has been doing business since 2002 and
just recently has taken our cabinets online for sale. Our management team
has a combined 30 years experience in the cabinet and building supplies
industries. We currently have warehouses located across the US with plans
to expand and bring new materials for sale all the time.
What process does the company take your money in the form of a payment?
Purchasing cabinets online, even though cheaper, is still a costly purchase.
It is important that your payment is secure and through a well known payment
processor. A large reputable third party payment processor can also
protect your interest as well.
At BulkCabinets we currently accept payment through
PayPal, one of the worlds most widely known payment processors. You can
rest assured your funds are being transferred securely.
How much backup inventory does the supplier stock?
For whatever the reason may be it is important to have a large backup of each
cabinet line in case a piece needs to be ordered. Cabinets contain dozens
of components and without a large stock of that cabinet line it may become
impossible to match up a certain cabinet style, color, stain, etc if not
available.
BulkCabinets currently stocks well over $3.5 million
worth of our cabinets lines throughout our various warehouses with a constant
supply coming in through its joint venture factory.
What are the lead times and shipping locations of the cabinets?
When sending a supplier thousands of dollars you want your product as soon as
possible. This reduces your risk and lowers potential interest expenses
waiting for a service to be performed. If a cabinet piece is damaged you
want it replaced as soon as possible. The sad fact is, most cabinet
suppliers have them manufactured on order or even imported on order which can
take 6 weeks or more for them to arrive.
At BulkCabinets we ship your cabinets from the closest
warehouse to the shipping destination - this lowers your shipping cost.
Since we always have stock in our warehouses you can expect your cabinets to
arrive in 7-14 days from the time you make payment for your order.
What is the quality an style of the cabinets I am ordering?
This indirectly ties in with your suppliers experience - you want the best
finished cabinet that is well constructed. You want to avoid poor
production, particle board, and out of style cabinet lines.
At BulkCabinets we carry the highest quality ready to
assemble (RTA) cabinets made of all wood - no particle board - with current
styles. Sample doors can be ordered for a small fee to see the quality,
style, and stain.
What is the price of the cabinets I am purchasing?
When ordering cabinets online you are cutting out many overhead expenses.
Be sure that these savings are passed onto you and not the supplier as pure
profit.
BulkCabinets passes all savings onto you! It is
our goal to offer the highest quality cabinets at the lowest prices possible.
Step 2 : Choose your Cabinet Style
It is important to pick a style that fits you, your budget, and your kitchen.
We have many cabinet styles to choose from at BulkCabinets and will be adding as
we see necessary. If you have any questions about our cabinet lines please
ask our staff and we will be glad to assist you.
Step 3 : Design your Kitchen or Bathroom
You will need to figure out which cabinet pieces and accessories are needed
for your design. Take measurements of your existing floor, wall, and
windows to create a layout and see how everything will pan together.
Design your own layout.
Perhaps you already know how to do this by hand or you can find programs
online which will allow you to supply measurements and then pick which cabinets
for what locations.
Have a local contractor or supplier design your kitchen.
Have a local kitchen designer come up with your layout - this usually costs
anywhere from $50-$150. Another option is to have your installer come up
with the design. Since they will be installing the cabinets they will
usually design your layout free of charge. Lastly, most stores such as
Home Depot will design your kitchen for you free of charge. The catch with
this is you can actually see how much money you will be saving by going with
BulkCabinets than them!
Step 4 : Order a Sample Door Piece
We highly recommend ordering a sample door for the cabinet line you are
interested in. This eliminates guessing and surprises as to the style,
color, etc of the cabinet line you have chosen. We offer sample doors for
all cabinet lines for a small shipping and handling charge.
Step 5 : Get a Quote of the Pieces you Need
Once you are ready simply go on our website and add the pieces you need to
our online quote form. Once you are done you can submit your quote
directly to our staff. Our staff will then check that all pieces are in
stock and add shipping costs based on the weight and shipping destination.
We will always ship from our closest warehouse to ensure shipping is the lowest
possible price.
Step 6: Receive your Invoice
Our staff will send you back an invoice after sending us your quote request.
If the quote is correct and the price is acceptable to you then you can send
payment directly from this invoice. When we have received the payment we
will ship out your cabinets and you should have them from 7-14 days from this
date.
Step 7 : Assemble your Cabinets
Average assembly time for ready to assemble cabinets is approximately 15
minutes per box. This is not to say an inexperienced person might take an
hour per box till they get the hang of it. There is no drilling or
hammering required for ready to assemble cabinets. It is up to you whether
you choose to hire a contractor for this step or not.
Step 8 : Install your Cabinets
Installing ready to assemble cabinets is no different than any other cabinet.
Mounting, leveling, etc are all things which must be done when installing.
It will be up to you to decide if you wish to hire a contractor for installation
or not.
Step 9 : Sit Back, Relax, and Enjoy
You are finished and can now enjoy your new cabinets all while saving
thousands of dollars in the process. Congratulations!
